Donewaiting.com Will Live as Archive
As we plan towards our butterfly-like transition from digital to print, I’d just like to point out that the website (and message board) will remain as an archive, and a place for you to follow along progress of the new entity (as well as our new Tumblr, linked below). I only bring this up because I noticed the Dispatch closed down The Other Paper’s website, which is one of the dumbest decisions they’ve ever made (and let’s not kid anyone, that’s saying alot). - Robert Duffy

As mentioned previously, Donewaiting is ending digital production in February and will become a print only entity in the summer, releasing one issue per year. We’ve finally put the final touches on our anniversary/goodbye weekend in Columbus. Here’s the details: (via Donewaiting Farewell/Anniversary Events in Columbus 2/15-17)

“February 16 in Columbus, Ohio: Celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Donewaiting which is also doubling as a farewell of sorts. After our anniversary, Donewaiting will cease digital production, becoming a print-only endeavor. “On February 15 and 16 at Ace of Cups in Columbus Ohio, Donewaiting will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary as a website. Wes Flexner is booking the 2/15 date and more information will come soon. On the 16th, we’ll be presenting EYE, Cheater Slicks, Miranda Sound, and a Sinkane DJ set featuring Ahmed and Jaytram. After that weekend, Donewaiting will cease digital publication and become a print-only entity, releasing one super sized issue some time in the summer. It’ll be called Donewaiting Quarterly and won’t come out on a quarterly basis. Sue me.” -
